Memorias Sabrosas
Memorias Sabrosas means "tasty memories", which is what Chef Elexis strives to create every time she cooks for people. She is a Puerto Rican and Dominican chef born and raised in Chicago, here to spice up your next Chicagoland area event with her modernized Caribbean-inspired menus.

About the Chef

Chef Elexis Ruiz spent summers during her childhood in the Dominican Republic watching her grandmother at the stove. There were no explanations, no recipes - just salsa music and her 'wela' cooking with her heart and her taste buds.
She grew up on comforting dishes like arroz con pollo, mofongo, tostones, and more. Now she wants to share these flavors with people in a modernized, approach whether that's through bite-sized form or new techniques.
